The female cut that was chosen to be the mother of the Raspberry Z is Grounded Genetics' own selection of their unreleased in-house strain, Raspberry Runtz, another keeper from their unreleased seed stock.
Raspberry Runtz is a cross of the original Runtz cut pollinated with Grounded Genetics' male selection of the Jealousy (Gelato 41 x Sunset Sherbert Bx1).
The phenotype they selected from the offspring has impressive greasy trichome coverage from top to bottom and an even more outstanding terpene profile that is reminiscent of raspberry sorbet.
Grounded Genetics chose this cut of Raspberry Runtz to receive the Zkittlez/ OG fused lineage of the Z Road, which led to a beautiful concoction of complex tropical candy tones with heavy undertones of gas.
The mother Raspberry Runtz was a standout cross from the Jealousy line, and thankfully, she passed down a mix of outstanding terp profiles and hefty resin-loaded flowers that typically will finish up in 8-9 weeks in the resulting progeny from her Z Road pollination.
