The Gulupa strain has a spectrum of purple tones, such as striking hues of magenta and plum across the leaves and even on the heavy crystallised buds.

When growing Gulapa indoors, expect medium-sized, resilient and forgiving plants with vigorous growth.

The Paradise Seeds team recommend pruning the Gulupa plants after approximately five weeks. Leave roughly 30cm of the stem from the base and lollipop the lower branches.

Gulupa will also thrive in outdoor climates, reaching heights of two metres with hefty buds in the Mediterranean.

Gulupa is a resilient plant for seasoned exotic growers in northern regions. However, as with other exotic strains, when stressed, plants may be more prone to hermaphroditism as a trade-off for increased potency and flavour.

To help reduce the chances of a problem arising, keep a close look out for pollen sacks on lower branches and apply the lollipop technique.
