If you picked up any copy of High Times in the 80’s or 90’s then you are very likely to have seen this strain in all her pin up glory.

Acapulco Gold was one of the most defining and much-loved strains of the early marijuana movement and it's easy to see why.

Uplifting yet mellow, a real easy-going smoke that gets you properly “high” without the spiralling rush of some more recent Sativas.

This means that it can be a real benefit to those suffering from stress or anxiety as any troubles float away on a cloud of citrus-pine scented joy.

Growing particularly tall for an auto (1-1.5m indoors without training) Apaculco Gold Auto is a beautiful example of a classic Sativa strain.

Typically long, thin, finger-like leaves, are slightly wider and darker thanks to the introduction of the ruderalis genetics.

Buds grow in clusters up the main stem and gather in big fluffy piles around the tops side branches, however despite being slightly more airy than some other strains, they are still coated in a thick layer of glistening trichomes.

Even though Acapulco Gold Auto will take slightly longer than some of our varieties, the yield more than makes up for it.

Indoors under SOG, even a novice grower can achieve 400g but with good lighting and some training this can increase up to 500gm2 without issues.
